and Fairfield University’s Bennett Center for Judaic Studies

ETHICAL QUESTIONS, JEWISH RESPONSES
An examination of ethical issues facing Jews and Jewish communities today and the varied responses offered by rabbis, ethicists, theologians, Jewish communal leaders and others. Topics will include body-shaming and eating disorders, gossip, tattoos (and who owns our bodies), immigration, health care, sexuality and gender, abortion (when does life begin?), the death penalty, end-of-life issues, including euthanasia.
***Please bring your own lunch, if you desire***
