NOURISHING THE BODY & SOUL
How Jewish Comfort Food Connects Us to Our Roots
Liz Rueven & Shannon Sarna in conversation
When: Wednesday, Sept. 7, 7 PM
Where: Chabad Lubavitch of Westport, 79 Newtown Turnpike, Westport
Join Shannon Sarna, author of the new book, MODERN JEWISH COMFORT FOOD, in conversation with Westport food blogger, Liz Rueven, to discuss the stories behind the foods we cherish. Learn how our food reflects our diverse cultural touchpoints and how you can create a modern twist on an old favorite. Hear how the pandemic has changed the way we cook, and the ingredients we use, and how COVID-19 has shined a light on food insecurity.
